We’re just past the best winter in many years, months of perfect snow and great conditions for winter outdoor activities. Early spring brought the most intense ice storm the area has seen in many decades. Recovery from this will go on for a long time. Grayling was on the southern edge of the worst of the ice storm.
Now we’re past the fishing season opener and May brings sunshine and warmer temperatures. Trees and flowers are blooming, days are longer, initial yard clean-up is done, and we’re looking forward to another beautiful northern summer.
