Winter has really set in up here in Northern Michigan, with cold temperatures, beautiful snow, and a decent base for cross-country skiing and snowmobiling. 2017 Arrives with Great Winter Conditions

Happy New Year!

Last week, Christmas brought 50 degree temperatures and worse conditions for snowmobilers and skiers.  Fortunately temperatures cooled down and we had several days of significant new snowfall.

Snowmobilers and cross country skiers have reported good conditions over the past few days.  Some rough trail reports, as expected, due to high traffic.  We’ve heard excellent trail reports from the trails to the Northeast, toward Lovells.

Today it’s all beautiful blue skies and fresh white snow.  We hope you’re enjoying the winter!

Busy Weekend

Many snowmobilers around this weekend, in addition to cross-country skiers and ice fishermen. Friday was a little warm, but this morning it’s 22 Degrees, snowing, and it looks like a beautiful day.
