Summer 2019

Summer 2019

This summer has been very busy for us, no vacancy every weekend and quite busy during the week also.  It seems like more people are vacationing throughout northern Michigan.  That’s good for all of us, except for you if you called and we had no rooms available.  Sorry about that.  We had to turn down many repeat customers who called wanting to return, just because we were already full.

Stuart spent half the summer traveling around Europe on his own, then working at Borcher’s Canoes and B&B, before he heads off to the University of Michigan this fall.

Anna spent the summer dancing full-time in Denver and Grand Rapids before returning to Interlochen Arts Academy this fall.

We have a great crew working here this year, Traci, Denise and Glen.  They’ve been wonderful at keeping the rooms and grounds clean and dealing with any issues that arise.

That’s allowed us to get away a few times this summer and enjoy northern Michigan’s summertime charm.  It’s been a great summer for sailing and biking!
